By playing Pons Garden you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not play.

1. What Pons Garden is

A browser game in which you grow fictional plants, and other players can steal them from your garden. It is entertainment. It is not an investment product, a financial service, a trading platform, or a way to earn money.

We never touch your assets. Pons Garden does not take custody of anything, does not hold funds or private keys, and does not construct, sign, relay or broadcast any blockchain transaction. Its only interaction with a blockchain is reading public data, exactly as a block explorer does.

2. Accounts and wallets

You may play as a guest with no account. Guest gardens are temporary and are removed shortly after you leave.
Linking a wallet asks it for two things only: your public address, and a signature on a plain sentence stating that it is free and is not a transaction. That signature proves the address is yours. It authorises nothing and moves nothing.
You are responsible for the security of your own wallet. We can never recover it.
You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live, and at least 13.

3. Sap and in-game items

Sap, plants, defences, cosmetics, vintages and endowments are licensed game content, not property and not currency. They have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for money or tokens at any rate, and may be adjusted, reset or removed as part of running and balancing the game. Nothing in the game is a claim against us.

4. Plant names and parody

Plant names are deliberate parody. Pons Garden is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or connected to any company whose name a plant evokes. No company logos, brand artwork or colourways are used, and every character design is original. No plant represents, tracks or references a real security, share price or market data feed. All in-game market movement is generated inside the game.

5. Seasons and prizes

Seasonal competitions are governed by the Season Rules. Entry is free, nothing is wagered, and prizes are funded by the studio. We may change, pause or end seasons between seasons.

6. Acceptable use

Do not automate play, exploit defects, run multiple accounts to influence standings, attack or overload the service, harass other players, or use the chat for unlawful content. We may suspend or remove accounts for any of these. Stealing plants in-game is expressly permitted and is the point of the game.

7. Availability

The game is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. It is in active development. It may go down, lose progress, or change substantially. We do not guarantee uptime or the preservation of game state.

8. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, for lost game progress, or for any loss connected to a blockchain, a wallet, a token's value, or a third-party service. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in-game. Continuing to play after a change means you accept it.
